E-Learning at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities

E-Learning-Support supports all teaching staff through electronic resources. A central component of this support is   ILIAS. In the following, you will finding information about:



Every semester shortly before lectures begin, E-Learning-Support offers courses on ILIAS. The times and dates for this courses are passed on to the departments and institutes and also provided here. The main objectives are courses on working with on-line courses as well as creating and uploading elctronic examinations. E-Learning-Support also organizes course for groups of participants who would like to learn more about a specific topic:

  • ILIAS Course Administration 28.9.2018, 11.00-13.00
  • ILIAS E-Examinations: Online-Tests and Examinations 2.10.2018, 14.00-16.00

This is the webpage that lists the courses.  Click on the course you are interested in by selecting the blue arrow beside it, chose "join". On the following page, click on agree and click on "join" again. If there are spaces in the course, you are then registered. Please take your own course materials to the ILIAS course, for example, on a USB stick.

In additon to providing information, E-Learning-Support is provides support for electronic examinations which are increasingly being used at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. This includes needs assessment, date and room coordination in cooperation with CompetenceCenter E-Learning as well as support of the examination process until completion and the subsequent evaluation. Individual support can also be provided. More detailed information about the concrete process as well as checklist is available in the Service Area of the Dean's Office.
