Aim “Funding is provided for combined study and research stays for diploma/master’s students and doctoral candidates from universities in the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan), the Southern Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia) and the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia), Azerbaijan, Georgia) and the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia) at the home university (sur place) and at the partner university in Germany to realise their diploma/master's and doctoral theses. The research stays are part of a binational education and research cooperation between the partner universities in one (or several related) discipline(s). Academic supervision during the stay is provided by foreign and German university lecturers.”
