Aim The open-industry programme supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in NRW in discovering and developing innovation potential and implementing new digital products, services and production processes. However, most SMEs do not have sufficient human and technological resources to manage innovation processes on their own. Professor and scientist can provide consulting, development and implementation services for SMEs and use the three variants of the MID vouchers for this purpose.
MID Analysis: Technology analyses for product or service innovations as well as innovative production processes and/or their feasibility.
MID Innovation: Research, development and implementation of innovation projects
MID Digitalisation: Analysis and implementation of digitisation solutions
Target group professors and scientists who want to work on concrete questions from everyday business life of SMEs in order to strengthen the innovative power of North Rhine-Westphalia together with SMEs | SME/Start-up based in NRW can apply for a MID voucher.
